Amnon Dahan – CEO and President. Amnon has founded and operated several successful businesses. He began his journey as an artisan craftsman. Amnon co-founded the XLart Group of design and build companies, and was directly involved in management, sales, design, building and marketing at the XLart Group. Amnon has always had a calling to create villages that will have a positive impact on the lifestyles of people, communities, as well as on the environment. Amnon is applying his passion and artistic talents to create smart, high-end, sustainable villages that will leave behind a permanent and beneficial legacy. Because of its beauty, wildlife, and society, Amnon intuitively understood that Costa Rica would be important and transformational on his journey to achieve his personal vision.

David Cooper, Ph.D – Chief Financial Officer. Dr. David Cooper has over 15 years of experience advising businesses in the context of strategic business planning, financial analysis and operational management. Clients have included Fortune 500 companies, government entities and top law firms. Dr. Cooper specializes in providing interactive tools that enable quantifiable, informed decision making.  Dr. Cooper also brings experience from several real estate development projects where he has participated as an investor, partner, and manager. David has a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Economics, both from UCLA.

Michael Rivera – Vice President of Marketing. Michael has over 20 years of experience in marketing and 10 years of experience in real estate. Michael is a former producer for Ignited, a successful integrated marketing and advertising agency based in Los Angeles, California. After becoming a full-time real estate investor with projects throughout the country and in Mexico and Costa Rica, Michael gained experience in property management, pre-construction investing, multi-unit apartment buildings, condo conversions and international land development and syndication. Joining the Kalia team, Michael now leads Kalia’s marketing initiatives in both homes sales and vacation rentals and has developed and manages Kalia’s Homeowner Rental Program. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan.

Noam Halpert – Director of Green Architecture and Design. With over ten years of extensive experience as a versatile multi-profession designer and project manager, Noam enjoys directing her talents toward promoting sustainable and renewable design, not only in interior design and architecture but, also, as a comprehensive way of life. As she was adventurously traveling around the globe in her youth, Noam’s passions towards architecture, design and construction were influenced and formed; today she is constantly drawing on these experiences to create and bring innovation and inspiration into the business, currently specializes in designing and building high-end luxury homes and specialized commercial spaces, Noam is proud to be a member of the Kalia team, where she can advance the momentum of introducing the broader community with extraordinary concepts of synergistic existence.

Lior Shevarsman – General Manager of Construction and Field Operations. Entrepreneur with over 10 years of experience in field management and land development, Lior owned a Construction company in Israel where he was a general contractor specializing in high density as well single family developments. Lior oversees infrastructure and construction and manages in-house engineers, supervisors and contractors across all developments in Costa Rica. A real warrior with a winning attitude, Lior always finds a solution to any construction obstacle or challenging terrain and continuously keeps customer satisfaction his priority.
